Sodexo Universities is looking for a Unit Controller 3 to oversee financial reporting for a higher education institution. This role involves managing accounting and financial responsibilities while driving financial performance across various operations.

The Unit Controller will deliver financial support through weekly projections, budget reviews, forecast updates, period closures, and ad hoc reporting. Acting as the main contact for financial inquiries, this position ensures timely completion of financial reports and thorough analysis of results, providing detailed variance explanations as required.

The Unit Controller will be responsible for:

  • Calculating weekly and monthly financial metrics
  • Budget preparation and forecasting
  • Conducting audits
  • Performing reconciliations
  • Assisting in the month-end closing procedures
  • Managing accounts payable and receivable
  • Preparing client financial reports and presenting data effectively
  • Monitoring and analyzing financial information
  • Executing UFS entries and unit transfers, along with reconciliations
  • Overseeing accounting and finance processes/projects
  • Ensuring the accuracy of internal financial reporting and preparing client income statements and invoices
  • Collaborating within a team to meet departmental deadlines
  • Proactively identifying and implementing innovative solutions to prevent issues
  • Establishing analysis standards and nurturing strong business relationships
  • Encouraging teamwork to achieve departmental and organizational objectives
  • Communicating effectively across all organizational levels.

Qualifications & Requirements:
