Job Title: Automation Control Engineer

Momentum Manufacturing Group LLC is seeking a highly skilled Automation Control Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for developing and optimizing our fleet of robotic and automation systems to improve efficiency and productivity in our manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and test automation systems to improve manufacturing processes
  • Develop and maintain Human-Machine Interfaces (HMI) and automated management reporting tools
  • Collaborate with departmental and corporate leadership to identify opportunities for automation and implement solutions
  • Work closely with internal and external customers and vendors to resolve issues and provide technical support

Requirements:

  • 10 years of experience in engineering, with a focus on automation and control systems
  • BS or equivalent in a relevant engineering field
  • Advanced coding skills using a scripting language
  • Understanding and functional knowledge of PLCs, low voltage controls, three phase power distribution, vision systems, electronic sensors, pneumatics, hydraulics, and robotics
  • Design and application knowledge of ergonomic and machine safety standards
