About the Role

City National Bank is seeking a highly skilled Financial Crime Prevention Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our fraud detection team, you will play a critical role in identifying and preventing financial crimes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review and Analyze Transactions: Conduct thorough reviews of transactions to identify potential financial crimes, such as money laundering, terrorist financing, and other illicit activities.
  • Investigate and Mitigate Risks: Investigate suspicious transactions and take appropriate action to mitigate risks and prevent financial crimes.
  • Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with our compliance, risk management, and law enforcement teams to ensure effective communication and coordination.
  • Stay Up-to-Date on Regulatory Requirements: Stay current on changing regulatory requirements and industry standards to ensure compliance and effective risk management.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as finance, accounting, or business.
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in a related field, such as financial crime prevention, risk management, or compliance.
  • Skills: Advanced knowledge of financial crimes, risk management, and compliance; excellent analytical and problem-solving skills; strong communication and collaboration skills.
