Job Overview

Position Title: Industrial Maintenance Specialist

Role Summary:
As a skilled Industrial Maintenance Specialist, you will be responsible for executing repairs, as well as preventive and corrective maintenance on production machinery, including blow molding equipment and the overall facility. Your key responsibilities will include adhering to corporate and plant safety protocols, as well as complying with relevant laws and regulations set forth by regulatory bodies.

Key Responsibilities:
- Install, adjust, and repair blow molding machines, trimmers, palletizers, and associated equipment.
- Conduct mold and neck tooling changes.
- Inspect and replace pneumatic and hydraulic hoses.
- Rebuild and replace valves and pumps.
- Perform preventive maintenance on all related machinery to ensure optimal performance.
- Engage in welding, fabrication, and repair of various machines.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with blow molding, bagging, and support equipment.
- Operate blow molding or injection machines as needed.
- Collaborate with other departments and undertake additional tasks as directed by management.

Skills Required:

  • Expertise in the repair and maintenance of production machinery.
  • Proficiency in the installation and adjustment of blow molding and related equipment.
  • Experience in preventive maintenance practices.
  • Welding and fabrication skills.
  • Strong troubleshooting abilities for blow molding and support equipment.
  • Capability to inspect and replace pneumatic and hydraulic hoses.
  • Experience in rebuilding and replacing valves and pumps.

Soft Skills:

  • Effective communication with various departments.
  • Application of sound professional judgment in all tasks.
  • Ability to follow instructions accurately.

Job Type: This position is a Contract-to-Hire opportunity.

Work Environment:
This role is fully on-site within a manufacturing facility focused on plastic bottle production. The work schedule typically follows a Monday to Friday pattern, with potential weekend shifts. The position operates on the second shift.
