About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Amazon E-Commerce Specialist to join our team at Lakeshirts. As a key member of our digital merchandising team, you will be responsible for managing seasonal product launches, maintaining NCAA/NBA/NHL calendars, and ensuring all products are ready for key marketing events.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage calendars for NCAA, NBA, and NHL spring and fall launches.
  • Work backward from key dates to ensure timely delivery of UPCs, art, and purchase orders for domestic and overseas headwear and apparel.
  • Track project timelines to ensure on-time execution.
Marketing Strategy and Execution
  • Develop and execute marketing strategies around key events such as the Football National Championship, Valentine's Day, March Madness, basketball national championship, and more.
  • Create and maintain calendars for sports events, conferences, and upcoming team celebrations.
  • Collaborate with schools to create new merchandise opportunities and stay updated on top-selling design trends.
Amazon Product Management
  • Manage product listings on Amazon, ensuring each product includes A+ content, model images, size charts, videos, and is properly categorized for marketing campaigns.
  • Develop discounting and deal strategies for merchandise.
  • Monitor performance and ensure each product is added to the Amazon store following the required processes.
Collaboration with Marketing Teams
  • Work closely with Blue84 marketing teams to prepare marketing materials for Amazon, including conference championship merchandise and seasonal campaigns.
  • Collaborate on outside-the-box projects such as 90s-inspired designs and coordinating headwear/apparel combos.
  • Ensure marketing teams have photos, size charts, and videos for merchandising efforts.
Product Development and Design Coordination
  • Coordinate with artists and designers to ensure timely delivery of designs for key events and holidays.
  • Oversee the approval and licensing of designs, ensuring they are added to product listings and marketing campaigns.
  • Communicate with internal marketing teams at Amazon to propose new product and marketing ideas.
Operations and Process Management
  • Track and manage the addition of new products to Amazon, ensuring the completion of all steps, from art creation to product listing.
  • Maintain detailed spreadsheets and records of what products have been added and marketed on Amazon.
  • Ensure designs for holiday events and key sports moments are completed on schedule.
Requirements
  • Experience in e-commerce, merchandising, or product management, preferably in the sports or apparel industry.
  • Strong project management skills with a track record of successfully managing multiple launches and deadlines.
  • Familiarity with Amazon product listing requirements, marketing campaigns, and content strategies.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with internal teams, designers, and external partners.
  • Ability to think creatively about marketing and product design.
  • Knowledge of NCAA, NBA, NHL sports merchandise trends preferred.
  • Experience working with licensing and merchandising for sports events preferred.
  • Highly experienced using technology, such as Microsoft Office products (PowerPoint, Excel, Word require), CRM (Salesforce a bonus), and project management tools to be organized and efficient.
  • Must be able to work with meticulous attention to detail and excel in process-oriented organizational tasks.
  • Ability to analyze data and identify problem areas to inform strategic decisions to effectively manage projects and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
