Key Responsibilities

We are in search of a dynamic leader in People Operations, skilled in nurturing collaboration and a positive workplace culture, with a solid history of strategic insight and practical execution. In this position, your collaborative abilities will be crucial to your success as you partner with the VP of People to further enhance the People Team's functions. You will spearhead strategic initiatives, manage complex global projects, and promote daily operational excellence. As a committed learner, you will approach challenges with curiosity and resilience, utilizing data to inform understanding and decision-making. You will also excel in facilitating executive communication and providing leadership on HR-related issues.

Your Responsibilities Include:

  • Leading a team of HR Operations professionals, offering guidance, support, and fostering their success while enhancing the team's capabilities in Employee Relations, HR compliance, Immigration, Global Mobility, Benefits operations, Audits, and other essential operational functions.
  • Creating and executing an innovative and scalable People Operations strategy, enhancing HRIS effectiveness, automation, global processes, and HR tools—ensuring they are consistently updated and documented, with end-user training provided.
  • Overseeing HRIS, analytics, and reporting systems, ensuring accurate and timely updates to all people-related data while delivering regular analytics and insights.
  • Personally managing Employee Relations and HR compliance matters when necessary.
  • Staying informed about innovative People practices and continuously implementing best-in-class methods to enhance operational effectiveness, as well as local and regional compliance requirements to ensure alignment in service delivery and processes.
Qualifications
  • 15+ years in People Operations or relevant HR roles, with a minimum of 5 years leading Global People Operations and 7 years in Employee Relations.
  • Master's degree in a related field or MBA preferred; SPHR/SHRM certification is a plus.
  • Proven experience in driving continuous improvement initiatives within global, rapidly growing, newly public company environments.
  • Demonstrated expertise in HRIS redesign.
  • Highly skilled in influencing cross-functional stakeholders and management team members.
  • Exceptional knowledge of North American HR compliance and audit requirements.
  • A passion for continuous improvement, enhancing effectiveness and efficiency.
  • A strong service and delivery excellence mindset.
  • Ability to adapt to unexpected changes and navigate ambiguity.
  • Impeccable judgment and discretion, particularly when handling sensitive and confidential information.
  • Capacity to anticipate market trends and proactively mitigate risks or maximize opportunities.
  • Ability to direct team activities with clarity, delegating tasks as appropriate.
