Position Overview
The Product Design Engineering team is seeking a Senior Thermal Systems Engineer.

As a vital member of the PD team, you will drive innovation and contribute to the advancement of electric vehicle charging solutions. The Senior Thermal Systems Engineer will be instrumental in designing, modeling, validating, and optimizing thermal systems.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and guide system architecture through precise thermal modeling.
- Lead the design of systems with a focus on thermal solutions.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to refine and enhance thermal performance to meet system specifications.
- Balance system requirements to maximize thermal efficiency while adhering to constraints such as volume, acoustics, power dissipation, and safety.
- Design and oversee thermal testing (TTV).
- Validate and enhance system designs through comprehensive data analysis.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in thermal design.
- Proficiency in heat pipes, vapor chambers, and liquid cooling technologies.
- Extensive experience in CFD analysis, particularly with IcePak (5 years or more).
- Conduct thermal verification testing and optimization, including Design of Experiments at each project phase.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills to effectively convey critical findings.

Preferred Skills
The ideal candidate may also possess experience in:
- Advanced degrees (MS or PhD) in Mechanical Engineering with a focus on Thermal Design, Heat Transfer, or Fluid Dynamics.
- Designing and optimizing cold plates.
- Proficiency in CAD software (Siemens NX is utilized).
- Experience in manufacturing and assembly processes.

Location
