Position Title: Senior Electronics Testing Engineer

Location: This role is primarily based in our Campbell, California offices. It is an on-site, full-time position.

Key Responsibilities:

  • As a Senior Electronics Testing Engineer, you will be integral to the R&D team, working on the next generation of robotic products that are set to revolutionize healthcare.
  • Design and develop production test hardware for Printed Circuit Board Assemblies, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards such as FDA, UL, and TUV.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish and execute a comprehensive manufacturing and testing strategy that guarantees the quality and reliability of hardware electronics.
  • Oversee EMI/EMC testing of product hardware, identifying design enhancements to meet regulatory compliance, including IEC60601-1 and CISPR22.
  • Facilitate the bring-up, testing, and debugging of newly designed printed circuit boards, while creating verification protocols and developing test vehicles for these protocols.
  • Engage with electronic hardware suppliers to ensure that manufacturing and testing procedures are properly established, qualified, and executed to meet both company and regulatory standards.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience; or a Master's degree in Engineering with at least 3 years of experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Over 5 years of experience in electronic circuit design and testing.
  • Proficient in designing DC motor control circuits, PID control loops, and analyzing motor and driver performance.
  • Demonstrated ability to design and develop complex electrical systems from concept through to production.
  • Experience in board-level printed circuit board design, including schematic design and PCB layout across analog, mixed signal, power electronics, and digital domains.
  • Strong familiarity with laboratory testing equipment such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, and power supplies.
  • Proven track record in troubleshooting complex systems, including component-level electronic issues and EMI/EMC/ESD mitigation.
