Essential Qualifications:
- 4+ years of recent litigation experience, ideally in insurance defense.
- Familiarity with state and federal court filing procedures, including e-filing.
- Strong understanding of calendaring, including state and federal court regulations and deadlines, without reliance on calendaring software.
- Expertise in using various technical tools, particularly Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
- Ability to prepare Tables of Authorities (TOA) and Tables of Contents (TOC) in Word.
- Experience in drafting a range of legal documents such as motions, discovery materials, pleadings, and judicial council forms.
- Exceptional communication skills, paired with a highly organized approach.
- Knowledge of software applications like iManage, Coyote Analytics, Westlaw - Deadline Assistant, and PACER.
- Capability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, even in high-pressure situations.
- Willingness to accept constructive feedback and work independently with minimal supervision while achieving results.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with colleagues.
- Technological proficiency and a quick, efficient work style, all while maintaining a keen attention to detail.
