Parks and Recreation Facilities Maintenance Technician

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute repair, upkeep, and enhancement tasks within designated areas of Parks and Recreation.
  • Oversee the maintenance of various park features, including fountains and recreational equipment.
  • Prepare outdoor spaces for community events and sports tournaments.
  • Ensure cleanliness and organization of recreational facilities.
  • Conduct routine inspections of park amenities and machinery.
  • Assist in managing inventory and maintaining equipment.
  • Participate in training sessions and team meetings as necessary.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent educational background.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.
  • Understanding of fundamental safety protocols.
  • Previous experience in parks and recreation maintenance is advantageous.

  • Capability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Physical capacity to perform tasks, including lifting items weighing up to 55 pounds.
