SCA Health is a dynamic organization that supports physician specialists in delivering high-quality patient care. As a Medical Practice Administrator, you will play a critical role in achieving our organizational objectives by providing exceptional support to our physicians and staff.

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Medical Practice Administrator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for exercising initiative, judgment, discretion, and decision-making to conduct all aspects of physician support. You will recommend, develop, and implement improvements for the practice, inform our CEO about current trends, problems, and medical activities, and establish and secure approval for clinic operating policies and procedures.

You will also participate in and coordinate physician recruitment for both cardiac and vascular surgeons, participate in and coordinate mid-level recruitment, provide direct supervision of CTVSA clinic managers, oversee efforts for recruitment, development, performance evaluation of employees, and oversee business and financial affairs of the CTVSA clinics.

As a Medical Practice Administrator, you will be responsible for resolving any medical-administrative problems, keeping lines of communication open with staff to ensure high employee morale and a professional, healthful clinic atmosphere, and providing support to clinic managers for oversight of recall process and utilization of vascular lab technicians.

You will also submit license applications for new locations, maintain current licenses, submit perfusion staff utilization reports to the CEO monthly, submit OBL utilization reports to the CEO monthly, provide support to clinic staff and managers for patient-related issues/complaints, provide support to the Director of Revenue Cycle for workflow changes related to billing and collections by clinic staff, communicate with GPO representatives for savings opportunities, file incident claim reports with malpractice carriers, maintain information in a confidential manner, identify and report compliance issues or concerns to the Compliance Officer for resolution, confirm completed OHSA training for office locations, confirm Annual Privacy and Security training for all office locations, and maintain knowledge of compliance requirements in accordance with job-related duties.

Responsibilities
