- Perform Clinical Procedures: Conduct aseptic procedures, take vital signs, prepare patients for provider care, and perform venipunctures and non-intravenous injections.
- Administer Medication and First Aid: Administer basic first aid and medication as directed by physicians and per protocol.
- Support Administrative Tasks: Perform office procedures, including scanning, filing, and faxing, and act as a liaison between support services and clinical divisions.
- Maintain a Clean and Organized Environment: Clean, prepare, and stock exam, treatment, and medication rooms for daily activity.
- Education: High School Diploma required.
- Experience: Healthcare and customer service experience, with medical assistant certification preferred.
- Skills: Strong customer service skills, ability to adapt to change, and proficiency in medical terminology.
- Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) from American Heart Association (AHA) within three months of employment and continued maintenance as required.
