This role will report directly to the Lead Corporate Counsel and will be instrumental in providing comprehensive support to the Legal Department in managing the organization's legal matters. The ideal candidate will exhibit exceptional attention to detail, professionalism, and a commitment to service excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Legal Support: Assist in-house counsel with the preparation of various legal documents and maintain confidential communications with senior management.
  • Research: Conduct legal and factual research under the supervision of the company's attorneys.
  • Document Drafting: Prepare preliminary drafts of standard agreements, including Confidentiality Agreements and Supply Agreements, for review by the Lead Corporate Counsel.
  • Professional Communication: Draft internal and external communications with a high level of professionalism.
  • Presentation Materials: Create and prepare high-quality presentation materials for meetings, utilizing advanced PowerPoint skills.
  • Document Management: Organize and maintain both electronic and physical legal documents and files.
  • Calendar Management: Oversee the Legal Department's Planning and Governance calendar.
  • Contract Oversight: Manage the electronic contracts repository, ensuring that all critical contracts are up-to-date and compliant.
  • Litigation Support: Assist with litigation matters in collaboration with both internal and external counsel, including managing litigation holds and e-discovery.
  • Intellectual Property Maintenance: Support the management of the Intellectual Property portfolio, including trademark and patent filings.
  • Vendor Compliance: Coordinate the collection and verification of insurance certificates from third-party vendors to ensure compliance with contractual obligations.
  • Reporting: Manage the annual Supplier System Contribution Disclosure reporting process and prepare summary reports for presentation to senior leadership.
  • Administrative Support: Provide limited administrative assistance to the Communications Department and the Chief Executive Officer.

Continuous Improvement: Evaluate and implement strategies to enhance collaboration on legal projects and improve departmental efficiency.
