Key Responsibilities
  • Assist current clients with policy updates, provide quotes, process payments, answer inquiries, and supply necessary documentation.
  • Handle customer communications regarding new or existing insurance policies and manage all claims, including regular and after-hours claims.
  • Collaborate with new clients or support a producer to identify their needs, gather essential information, explore policy options, present alternatives, finalize and secure new coverage, cancel outdated policies, and negotiate with carriers as needed.
  • Schedule appointments or client calls, or assist a producer in reviewing existing policies, assessing liability limits and exposures, identifying additional coverage needs, evaluating replacement costs, rounding out accounts, and securing renewals.
  • Engage with clients to provide comprehensive information about products and services, quote new business, process renewals or cancellations, accept payments, and deliver requested documentation.
  • Address product or service issues by clarifying client concerns, identifying the root cause, selecting and explaining the best solution, expediting corrections or adjustments, and following up to ensure resolution.
  • Review audits or policies for accuracy and facilitate necessary corrections between clients and carriers.
  • Maintain detailed records of client interactions and transactions, documenting inquiries, comments, and actions taken in the agency management system.
  • Work collaboratively with team members, mentor new staff, provide expertise, answer questions, and participate in both formal and informal meetings as required.
Qualifications
  • Prior experience is valued, but we are willing to train entry-level candidates.
  • Exhibit a strong customer service orientation and excellent phone etiquette; demonstrate exceptional written and verbal communication skills, along with strong mathematical and reading abilities for calculations.
  • Possess a sense of urgency, attention to detail, organizational skills, the ability to multitask, and follow-up capabilities, with the aptitude to manage challenging situations and solve complex problems independently.
  • Demonstrate excellent time management skills, a personal accountability mindset, and proficiency in technology and computer systems, including agency management tools, rating systems, and carrier website navigation.
Compensation: $36,000 - $45,000 annually
