The Guest Services Representative plays a crucial role in ensuring that our guests have a seamless and enjoyable experience from the moment they arrive. This position involves a range of responsibilities aimed at delivering exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Welcome and register guests, assigning them to their accommodations.
  • Provide room keys and assist with any special requests.
  • Manage incoming correspondence, including mail and messages.
  • Facilitate communication by relaying telephone messages.
  • Address guest inquiries regarding hotel amenities, local attractions, and travel guidance.
  • Maintain accurate records of room availability and guest accounts.
  • Process payments, issue receipts, and manage billing inquiries.
  • Handle reservations and confirm bookings as needed.
  • Post charges to guest accounts for services rendered.
  • Assist in making arrangements for dining, transportation, and entertainment.
  • Support guests with the secure storage of valuables.
  • Conduct nightly audits of cash and other transactions.
  • Actively listen to guest concerns and provide effective solutions.

Qualifications

To excel in this role, candidates should possess the following:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in a customer service role is preferred.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
