Position Overview

The Guest Services Representative plays a vital role in ensuring a seamless check-in and check-out process for our guests. This position involves a range of responsibilities aimed at providing outstanding service and maintaining operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Welcome and register guests, assigning them to their respective accommodations.
  • Provide room keys and necessary information to assist guests upon arrival.
  • Manage incoming mail and messages, ensuring timely distribution.
  • Handle telephone communications, relaying messages and inquiries as needed.
  • Respond to guest inquiries regarding hotel services, local attractions, and travel information.
  • Maintain accurate records of room availability and guest accounts.
  • Process payments, issue receipts, and manage billing inquiries.
  • Facilitate reservations for dining, transportation, and entertainment options.
  • Assist guests with the secure storage of valuables.
  • Conduct nightly audits to ensure accuracy in financial transactions.
  • Actively listen to guest concerns and provide effective solutions.

Qualifications

To excel in this role, candidates should possess the following:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent experience.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in basic computer skills and familiarity with reservation systems.
