Position Overview:
Golden Nugget Hotels & Casinos - Guest Services Representative
A Guest Services Representative plays a crucial role in ensuring a warm welcome and exceptional service for guests at the Golden Nugget hotel and casino.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver consistently positive, courteous, and professional service in all interactions with guests, visitors, vendors, and colleagues.
- Facilitate the registration process for incoming guests by completing necessary documentation and collecting payment information.
- Manage the settlement of account balances for departing guests, including payment acceptance and cash drawer management. Address and resolve any billing discrepancies.
- Provide information to guests regarding entertainment options and attractions, ensuring a memorable stay.
- Generate and process routine reports, and assist in training new team members as needed.
- Foster positive relations with the public and fellow employees at all times.
- Maintain guest relations in a constructive manner; direct guests to appropriate personnel for unresolved complaints.
- Support other departments with any requirements related to hotel guests.
- Ensure a clean, safe, and hazard-free work environment within your area of responsibility.
- Perform any additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Previous experience in high-volume customer service environments.
- One (1) year of experience in hotel front desk operations is strongly preferred.
