About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Enterprise Project Management to join our team at InsideHigherEd. As a key member of our organization, you will play a pivotal role in providing integrated direction, management, and leadership in the administrative and business planning, budgeting, and automation efforts of our major projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Leadership: Directs and integrates the activities of multiple, major project operations, ensuring that project efforts are cohesive, consistent, and effective in supporting our institution's mission, goals, and strategic plan.
  • Policy Development: Develops and establishes policies, strategies, and operating objectives consistent with our institution's goals to ensure efficient and effective implementation of major cross-institutional projects.
  • Project Planning and Execution: Participates in and oversees the development, implementation, and maintenance of individual project objectives and short and long-range plans, developing tracking and evaluation programs to assist in the accomplishment of established project goals and objectives.
  • Stakeholder Management: Consults, coordinates, and serves as principal liaison with senior institution officials on strategic matters of policy, interdivisional interaction, and capital development, improvement, and management.
  • Team Management: Directly manages a team of professional and support staff through lower-level managers to establish and measure project management, process improvement, and risk management.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Collaborates with institution leadership and administration to establish programmatic goals and priorities for business and technology solutions to meet individual component and institutional needs.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Collaborates with the President, Executive Director, Office of Internal Audit, Ethics and Compliance, and other relevant stakeholders as it relates to project development and deployment at an institutional level.
  • Additional Responsibilities: Performs all other duties and responsibilities as assigned or directed by the supervisor.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business or related discipline.
  • Experience: 3+ years in project management, business analysis, operational excellence roles, or related field.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Master's Degree.
