Position Title: Manager, Enterprise Risk ManagementAbout the Organization:

Role Overview:

The Manager of Enterprise Risk Management is responsible for establishing and overseeing a comprehensive risk management framework that aligns with the organization's strategic vision. This role emphasizes the importance of integrating risk management into all institutional activities and decision-making processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Framework Development: Design and maintain a robust Enterprise Risk Management framework that integrates risk considerations into all aspects of the organization.
  • Culture Promotion: Foster a risk-aware culture that encourages all members to identify and report risks.
  • Risk Assessment Leadership: Lead the annual enterprise-wide risk assessment, identifying and evaluating risks across various domains including operations, finance, technology, and compliance.
  • Mitigation Strategy Implementation: Develop and execute strategies to mitigate identified risks, collaborating with stakeholders to establish effective controls.
  • Collaboration with Leaders: Work closely with divisional leaders to identify specific risks and provide guidance on risk mitigation plans.
  • Data Monitoring: Gather and analyze risk-related data, reporting emerging risks to senior management and relevant committees.
  • Reporting: Create comprehensive risk assessment reports for leadership, highlighting emerging risks and the effectiveness of mitigation strategies.
  • Policy Development: Develop tools, practices, and policies for effective risk analysis and reporting.
  • Compliance Assurance: Ensure risk management policies comply with applicable regulations and institutional strategies.
  • Audit Collaboration: Collaborate with internal audit teams to align risk management with compliance efforts.
  • Business Continuity Planning: May involve responsibilities related to Business Continuity Planning for the organization.
  • Additional Duties: Perform other responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications:

Required: Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field with a minimum of 3 years of experience in Enterprise Risk Management or Compliance.

Preferred: Master’s Degree.

  • Effective team management and relationship-building skills.
  • Analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
