Position Overview

We are in search of a qualified Financial Operations Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

This role involves reporting directly to the COO/CFO and encompasses a variety of critical functions, including:

  • Overseeing all financial operations such as Billing, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and Payroll
  • Developing the annual budget and financial projections
  • Managing cash flow strategies and overseeing cash, investments, and asset management
  • Preparing and reviewing year-end documentation for external auditors related to financial statements and tax return preparations
  • Ensuring the implementation of robust internal controls, compliance with escrow requirements, and adherence to financial protocols, including the development and documentation of business processes
  • Supervising software systems to deliver essential and timely financial and operational insights
  • Managing Accounts Receivable and the collection process
  • Facilitating the month-end and year-end closing processes and aiding in the prompt preparation and review of financial reports
  • Conducting research on technical accounting and tax compliance issues as necessary

Qualifications for Success:

  • Comprehensive understanding of accounting and tax regulations
  • Proficient in Excel and other spreadsheet applications
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with a proven ability to convey information effectively

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years of combined experience in accounting, finance, and taxation
  • Active CPA license
  • Experience in:
    • Preparation of financial statements for various legal entities
    • General ledger management and month-end/year-end closing activities
    • Preparation and review of partnership and payroll tax returns
    • Administration of diverse accounting software
    • Experience with professional service firms is advantageous

Compensation Range: $80,000 - $100,000 annually
