Position Summary:
The Finance Manager at CAPITAL CFO+ LLC is tasked with overseeing the comprehensive financial and accounting functions of the organization. This role is crucial for maintaining the financial health of the company and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations. Candidates with a background in non-profit accounting are encouraged to apply, although this is not a strict requirement.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage financial policies and procedures, ensuring accurate recording and reporting of all financial transactions, including budgeting and financial statements.
  • Prepare and present financial reports to the executive team and Board of Directors as required.
  • Conduct workshops for the Board on the annual budgeting process.
  • Monitor daily financial transactions and ensure timely processing of invoices.
  • Generate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
  • Prepare tax-related documentation and assist external auditors in compiling necessary information for financial statements and tax returns.
  • Serve as the primary contact for banks, creditors, and auditors.
  • Perform monthly reconciliations for all bank accounts.
  • Manage petty cash and oversee all company assets.
  • Ensure accurate recording of all incoming payments.
  • Maintain employee records and manage benefits administration.
  • Verify payroll and related documentation.
  • Assist with event registrations and maintain detailed records of membership dues.
  • Oversee IT services and collaborate with contractors on technology upgrades.
  • Participate in weekly staff meetings and attend company events as necessary.
  • Fulfill additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • A minimum of 5 years of accounting experience.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
  • Proficient in computer applications.
  • Experience in non-profit organizations is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively to achieve organizational goals.
  • High level of confidentiality is essential.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with Quickbooks is required; experience with HubSpot is a plus.

Note: The Finance Manager will operate under the general direction of senior management and is expected to carry out responsibilities with minimal supervision. The duties outlined are not exhaustive and may be adjusted as necessary to ensure the efficient operation of the department.
