Position Overview

We are in search of a qualified Financial Operations Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

This role involves reporting directly to the COO/CFO and encompasses a variety of essential functions, including:

  • Overseeing all financial operations such as Billing, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and Payroll
  • Assisting in the formulation of the budget and financial projections
  • Managing the cash flow planning process alongside cash, investments, and asset oversight
  • Preparing and reviewing year-end documentation for external auditors in relation to financial statement assessments and tax return preparations
  • Ensuring the implementation of effective internal controls, compliance with escrow regulations, and adherence to financial protocols, including the development and documentation of business processes
  • Supervising software systems to deliver timely and critical financial and operational insights
  • Handling Accounts Receivable management and the collection process
  • Supporting the month-end and year-end closing procedures and aiding in the prompt preparation and review of financial reports
  • Conducting research on technical accounting and tax matters for compliance purposes as required

Essential Skills:

  • Comprehensive understanding of accounting and tax regulations and practices
  • Proficient in Excel and other spreadsheet applications
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities, with a proven capacity to convey information effectively

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of cumulative experience in accounting, finance, and taxation
  • Active CPA license
  • Experience Required:
    • Preparation of financial statements for various legal entities
    • Management of general ledger functions and month-end/year-end closing processes
    • Preparation and review of partnership and payroll tax submissions
    • Administration of various accounting software platforms
    • Experience in professional service organizations is preferred
