Student Water Resources Engineer Position

RESPEC Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented student civil water resources engineer to join our team for the summer of 2025. As a student civil water resources engineer, you will have the opportunity to work on various water resource engineering projects, including stormwater, water and wastewater, and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct hydrologic and hydraulic analyses to support planning, design, and construction of water resource engineering projects.
- Perform calculations and design work to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Prepare reports, figures, and technical documents to communicate project results to stakeholders.
- Utilize computer-aided design and drafting (AutoCAD) and geographic information system (GIS) analysis to support project work.
- Participate in field work and construction oversight, and interact with clients to ensure project success.
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in civil or water resources engineering.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD (or similar software) and/or GIS.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (e.g., Word, Excel, and Outlook).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work well in a team environment and contribute to project success.
- Strong problem-solving and math skills.
