Overview
As a Retail Operations Leader, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily functions of the store while ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities
1. **Expense Management**
- Monitor and control operational costs to optimize profitability.
- Safeguard company assets in accordance with established guidelines.

2. **Staff Scheduling**
- Develop and maintain store schedules to ensure adequate coverage at all times, adhering to wage control measures.

3. **Inventory Management**
- Execute accurate inventory management practices, including receiving, transferring, and conducting regular product counts.

4. **Documentation and Compliance**
- Maintain proper documentation and record-keeping in line with company policies and applicable laws.
- Open and close the store following operational procedures.

Additional Responsibilities
1. **Team Management**
- Lead and mentor store associates through comprehensive training programs and performance evaluations.
- Recruit, develop, and train staff to meet operational goals and adhere to company standards.

2. **Disciplinary Actions**
- Implement progressive disciplinary measures as necessary, including verbal and written warnings, and manage employment terminations with appropriate approvals.

3. **Policy Enforcement**
- Ensure all associates comply with company policies regarding inventory, funds, and property management.

4. **Communication**
- Foster effective communication with employees at all levels within the organization.

Required Skills and Qualifications
- A minimum of two years of post-secondary education coupled with one year of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Demonstrated ability to achieve sales targets while minimizing losses.
- Proven leadership capabilities with experience in delivering training and assessing employee retention.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
- Proficient in computer operations and relevant software applications.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform tasks requiring climbing and overhead work.
- Willingness to travel overnight for training and business meetings.
