General Manager Role Overview
As a General Manager, you will be responsible for recruiting and nurturing exceptional talent, leading efforts to achieve or surpass sales, payroll, and expense objectives, managing store operations efficiently, and ensuring outstanding customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive store performance to meet or exceed sales and payroll goals based on market trends.
- Plan, prioritize, and modify schedules to align with business needs.
- Train and inspire team members in sales techniques, customer service, and product knowledge.
- Provide constructive feedback on performance and conduct evaluations.
- Ensure a superior customer experience while upholding high service standards.
- Oversee daily operations and staff coverage effectively.
- Foster a fair and respectful workplace culture.
- Work collaboratively with District Managers to adopt best practices in store management.
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams to achieve sales and payroll objectives.
- Expertise in identifying, building, and developing high-performing teams.

- Excellent communication skills.
- A minimum of 4 years of management experience in a retail environment.
- Ability to remain mobile on the sales floor for extended periods.
- Capable of lifting and moving items weighing up to 75 lbs.
- Completion of a background check is required.
- Flexible availability is essential.
