Job Title: Store Protection Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Store Protection Specialist to join our team at Music City Nashville,TN #124 - Nolensville. As a key member of our store team, you will be responsible for creating a safe and welcoming environment for our customers and team members.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Welcome customers and visitors with a warm smile and provide exceptional customer service.
  • Assist in maintaining a smooth and efficient entrance and exit process during busy periods.
  • Collaborate with team members to provide consistently excellent customer service and ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.
  • Uphold a professional appearance and conduct oneself in a manner consistent with our company values, vision, and mission.
  • Ensure that no large bags or backpacks are brought into the store and that team members' bags are checked upon exit.
  • Oversee and/or lead interactions with customers suspected of shoplifting and measure for compliance with our shoplifting policy.
  • Establish a presence at the store entrance to project a strong sense of service and deter dishonest activity.
  • Conduct regular floor walks to ensure the safety and security of customers and team members.
  • Complete and submit a Daily Activity Log to management.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in customer service is a plus.
  • Proven experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in a retail or hospitality setting.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including fluency in multiple languages if applicable.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to handle difficult or irate customers with patience and grace.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple customer inquiries simultaneously.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail to maintain an orderly entrance area.
  • Friendly and approachable demeanor, with a positive attitude towards customer service.
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
