Media Sales Account Manager

Overview:
Salem Media Group, Inc. presents a remarkable opportunity for a Media Sales Account Manager. We are seeking a driven sales expert to become part of our expanding on-air and digital sales team.
The selected candidate will be responsible for selling and overseeing our multimedia marketing solutions, which encompass radio, digital platforms, and event promotions tailored for local small to medium-sized enterprises.
Success will be measured by achieving monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets while identifying and developing new business opportunities that align with client expectations.
Responsibilities:
Identify and engage with local and regional businesses.
Connect with decision-makers, schedule meetings, assess client requirements, and craft and deliver persuasive and strategic advertising presentations that meet client goals.
Stay informed about local digital marketing trends and opportunities.Develop and present strategic marketing proposals for key accounts and prospective clients.
Accurately forecast revenues, consistently meet and surpass monthly targets across all product lines, and exceed annual financial objectives.
Qualifications:
A proven history of surpassing sales targets in both broadcast and online media.
In-depth knowledge of digital products and their positioning and sales strategies in the market.
A solid understanding of and success in selling Search Engine Marketing (SEM), Search Engine Optimization (SEO), Targeted Display Advertising, OTT/CTV, social media marketing, Email Marketing, Chat services, Website Development, among others.
A track record of conducting comprehensive needs assessments to uncover client requirements and providing tailored solutions supported by relevant data.
Proven experience in formulating a business marketing strategy for local and regional clients.
Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor.
A demonstrated capacity to collaborate with a diverse clientele.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (MS Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.) and the ability to quickly adapt to new software tools for prospecting and market analysis (Miller Kaplan, Compass Borrell, Neilsen, RAB, etc.).
