Position Overview
- Discover and cultivate new business prospects within the freight forwarding and logistics sectors.
- Advocate for the full range of company offerings for import and export to drive revenue growth.
- Achieve and surpass established sales objectives and performance metrics.
- Conduct research to uncover new business opportunities, assess client needs, and provide valuable insights.
- Implement and monitor the execution of sales strategies, objectives, and targets.
- Foster and maintain robust relationships with clients through effective communication and service delivery, addressing inquiries regarding products, pricing, and service terms.
- Deliver exceptional communication support during sales engagements and ensure timely follow-up.
- Enhance and maintain industry knowledge, including competitor analysis and market trends.
- Collaborate closely with the product/pricing team and international partners to guarantee the accuracy of quotes and proposals.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in international freight forwarding or related logistics sales is essential.
- At least 5 years of experience with a leading global freight forwarding firm.
- A Bachelor's Degree or higher in a business-related discipline is required.
- A comprehensive understanding of the domestic and international transportation landscape (including trucking, rail, air, and ocean modes) is necessary.
- A proven history of success in sales, prospecting, and account development.
- Familiarity with digital freight forwarding platforms and operational processes.
- Ability to establish and nurture trustworthy relationships with clients at all organizational levels (C-Level, Managers, Staff).
- Exceptional presentation and sales skills, with a keen attention to detail and follow-up.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite: PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook.
- Willingness to travel up to 30% within the United States.
- Bilingual proficiency in Korean is required.
