About the Front Desk Agent Position

We are seeking a Front Desk Agent who can make transactions feel seamless, offer exceptional local insights, and anticipate every request to make our guests feel right at home. As a Front Desk Agent, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing a warm welcome and ensuring a memorable experience.

Responsibilities
  1. Kick off truly memorable guest experiences with a warm welcome
  2. Acknowledge IHG Rewards Club members and returning guests in person or over the phone
  3. Take, manage, and receive payments for guest bookings
  4. Make the check-in and check-out process feel swift and seamless
  5. Stay a step ahead of our guests' needs to anticipate requests and offer tailored recommendations
  6. Be our guests' trusted contact, helping with everything from bill issues to restaurant recommendations
Requirements
  • Communication skills - guests will need to come to you with concerns as well as compliments, so you'll be easy to talk to
  • Problem-solving skills will turn issues into opportunities, so every guest leaves with great memories
  • Fluency in the local language - extra language skills would be great, but not essential
  • Literate and tech-savvy - you'll need a good grasp of reading, writing, basic math, and computer skills

The hourly pay rate for this role is $25.75. This rate is only applicable for jobs to be performed in Washington, DC. This is the starting rate we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may pay more or less than the posted rate, and the rate may be modified in the future.
