Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Clinical Care Specialist to join our team at DaVita Inc. in Hickory, North Carolina. As a key member of our dialysis care team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting the well-being of our patients with end-stage renal disease (ESRD).

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care, focusing on safe, comfortable, and hygienic dialysis treatment.
    • Monitor patients before, during, and after dialysis treatment, including measuring and recording vital signs, patient observations, and hemodialysis machine setup.
    • Educate patients on kidney dialysis-related topics and build long-term relationships with them.
    • Work collaboratively with a cross-functional team of clinicians, including nurses, dietitians, social workers, and other experienced healthcare professionals.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required;
    • Must be comfortable working around blood and needles;
    • Willingness to train and work across multiple clinics within the territory as needed;
    • Health care experience a plus, including certifications like BONENT Certified, Certified Hemodialysis Technician (CHT), Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), or Phlebotomy certification.

Salary and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $45,000-$65,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.
