Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $75,000 to $110,000 per year, depending on experience.

Job Summary

We are seeking a Critical Care Specialist to join our team at Frye Regional Medical Center. As a registered nurse (RN), you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care in our PACU, ER, and ICU departments. Your expertise in plan-of-care intervention, medication administration, and clinical treatments will make a significant difference in the lives of our patients.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • An Associate's degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's degree preferred
  • A current RN license to practice in North Carolina
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred
  • Prior experience in PACU, ICU, or ER settings is highly desirable

Responsibilities

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Performing plan-of-care interventions, including medication administration, specimen collection, clinical treatments, and other medical care treatments
  • Documenting patient care given
  • Maintaining accurate records of patient condition and communicating effectively with the care team, physicians, patients, and families
  • Collaborating across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including transfers, discharges, referrals, and spiritual/psychosocial support needs
  • Evaluating learning needs of patients and families, providing education, and advocating for their well-being
