Medical Care Specialist

About the RoleOur Medical Care Specialists play a vital role in providing comprehensive care to patients, utilizing their specialized skills and knowledge to make a meaningful impact on patient outcomes. This is an exciting opportunity for experienced nurses looking to join a supportive team that prioritizes patient well-being and professional growth.
We offer a competitive salary package, with an estimated annual salary range of $62,000 - $92,000, depending on experience. In addition to your base compensation, this position also includes:
- A $20,000 sign-on bonus with a one-year commitment

Responsibilities
- Perform plan of care intervention, including medication administration, specimen collection, clinical treatments, and other medical care treatment
- Document patient care given
- Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition as appropriate to care team, physician, patient, and family
- Assist patients with performing activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation
- Collaborate across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including patient transfer, discharge, referral, and spiritual/psychosocial support needs
- Evaluate learning needs of patient and/or family and provide patient/family education appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstances
- Work as an advocate for the physical and emotional well-being of the patient

Qualifications and Requirements
- Current state RN license
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Basic Life Support certification required within 30 days of hire
- ACLS and PALS required within six months of hire
- One year of experience preferred
