Job Title: Sales Engineer - Utah Territory

Corning Incorporated is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Engineer to join our team in Utah. As a Sales Engineer, you will be responsible for maximizing the sale of Corning Optical Communications (COC) products within the Utah territory.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Meet or exceed sales budgets for all telecommunications products assigned.
  • Generate preference for Corning Optical Communications' products over that of competitors through regular sales calls.
  • Ensure a balanced mix of sales calls to end users, contractors, cable assembly houses, distributors, and consultants.
  • Manage the NPI contractor program and Consultant EAP Program in your territory to maximum efficiency.
  • Coordinate sales calls with primary distributor representatives to maximize sales penetration within assigned territory.
  • Provide ongoing training to distributors to assist them in effectively selling Corning Optical Communications' product solutions.
  • Submit weekly reports and expense reports to the Regional Manager on time.
Requirements:
  • B.S. or B.A. degree preferred.
  • 3+ years of Sales and/or Marketing experience.
  • Ability to work with others.
  • Strong Solution Selling Capabilities such as Consultative Communication.
  • Internally motivated and results-oriented.
  • Ability to target and prioritize key customers.
  • Proven success in time/territory management.
