Account Executive Job Description

The Account Executive is a key role at Shamrock Foods Company, responsible for driving sales growth and profitability. This position involves representing the company's products and services to restaurants, resorts, hotels, and other institutional establishments through face-to-face interactions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prospect new customers and build a territory to expand the customer base
  • Maintain current customer relationships and grow their share of business
  • Impact customer success through supporting menu engineering, food cost analysis, and market intelligence sharing
  • Conduct product demonstrations and comparisons, and facilitate capabilities demonstrations
  • Build multi-level relationships in the businesses served
  • Keep accounts current, optimizing sales, service, and delivery, and collecting past-due balances
  • Leverage technology for improved customer efficiency and customer experience enhancements
  • Participate in ongoing training to develop skills
Requirements:
  • HS Diploma and/or GED required; Associate or Bachelor's degree a plus
  • 2+ years' experience in culinary, restaurant operations, foodservice, or related experience preferred
  • Previous successful sales experience a plus
  • Current driver's license
  • Demonstrated expertise in problem-solving and technology analysis
  • Knowledgeable on industry trends and Microsoft Office skills
  • Must be flexible and willing to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
