General Kinematics is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Territory Sales Manager to join our team in Utah. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving company sales, assisting with marketing efforts, and product development for the assigned region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Meet specific sales goals for new equipment and aftermarket parts for assigned region.
  • Lead sales projects through the entire sales cycle, including prospecting customers, presenting company and products, and negotiating contracts.
  • Travel extensively within the region of coverage to meet with customers and partners.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including engineering and marketing, to provide customers with competitive and accurate proposals.
  • Engage with external manufacturer representatives to assist in qualifying leads and developing a pipeline of prospects and customers.
  • Identify potential sales opportunities and develop well-defined product specifications for GK products.
  • Monitor market acceptability of GK products and prepare reports with recommendations and findings.
  • Perform sales presentations and attend industry-specific trade shows as required.
  • Oversee and improve the Sales Department in all functions.
  • Maintain regular communication with Regional Sales Manager and submit quarterly regional strategic plans.
Requirements
  • 3-5 years of experience in capital equipment sales is preferred.
  • Knowledge of vibratory equipment and industry focus in process equipment is a plus.
  • Previous corporate/key account management experience is preferred.
  • Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and working knowledge of CAD is preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and organization.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
