Job Title: Sustaining Engineering Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Sustaining Engineering Manager to join our team at Connexion Systems & Engineering, Inc.

Job Summary:

The Sustaining Engineering Manager will be responsible for maintaining and improving existing products within the connector industry. This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure product quality, reliability, and performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Product Maintenance: Monitor and analyze product performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing necessary changes.
  • Troubleshooting: Provide technical support to resolve product issues, working with quality assurance and manufacturing teams.
  • Design Changes: Develop and implement design modifications to improve product reliability and performance.
  • Documentation: Maintain detailed records of design changes, test results, and product performance data.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with R&D, quality assurance, supply chain, and manufacturing teams to ensure seamless product updates and improvements.
  • Customer Support: Address customer inquiries and technical issues, providing timely and effective solutions.
  • Compliance: Ensure products meet industry standards and regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience: 5-7 years of experience in product sustaining engineering, preferably in the connector industry.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Creo software, knowledge of connector design and manufacturing processes, and familiarity with industry standards.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Teamwork: Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
