Executive Chef Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled Sous Chef to join our team at Whiskey Joe's. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for overseeing food production, ensuring exceptional quality and presentation, and maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee and assist kitchen staff in all aspects of food production
- Ensure adherence to recipes, guidelines, and food safety standards
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and correctly
- Develop, coach, and train BOH team members
- Follow portion sizes, quality standards, and department rules
- 2 years' experience in a similar role with a minimum of 5 years' progressive BOH restaurant experience
- Detailed oriented with strong emphasis on accuracy and time management
- Ability to interface with various levels of management using excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
- Strong familiarity with OSHA and local Department of Health Regulations
- PC literate with working knowledge of Outlook, Esysco, and MS Excel preferred

The Sous Chef will be required to perform light work, with prolonged walking and/or standing, and occasional exertion of up to 35lbs of force.
