Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Commis Chef to join our culinary team at Sandpiper Bay Resort. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of dishes to the highest standards of quality and presentation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation: Prepare and cook a variety of meats, seafood, poultry, vegetables, and other food items using standardized recipes and kitchen equipment.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that all food products served from your station meet our high standards of quality, portion size, and presentation.
  • Inventory Management: Stock and maintain sufficient levels of food products at line stations to ensure a smooth service period.
  • Teamwork: Work collaboratively with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient and effective food preparation and service.
Requirements
  • Education: High School diploma or equivalent, with certification in culinary training or apprenticeship.
  • Experience: A minimum of 1-2 years' experience as a line cook in a 4-star or higher rated restaurant.
