About the Role:
The Administrative Assistant will provide high-level administrative support to the Director of Food & Beverage at Seminole Gaming. This role will be responsible for coordinating office activities, scheduling appointments, and providing information to callers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support to the Director of Food & Beverage, including scheduling appointments and taking dictation
- Screen telephone calls and visitors, and provide information to callers
- Compose and type routine or complex correspondence and reports
- Maintain and revise department filing systems
- Perform a broad range of administrative details of a highly confidential nature
- Maintain calendar for the Department Head, arranging meetings, conferences, and appointments
- Open and review all mail directed to the Department Head, and compose responses to routine inquiries
- Follow up on all assignments delegated to subordinate managers
- Record Minutes of staff meetings and distribute to appropriate personnel
- Promote positive public/employee relations at all times
- Maintain a clean, safe, hazard-free work environment
Requirements:
- High School diploma or GED with one to two years of related experience and/or training
- Prior supervisory experience preferred
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or Tribal/governmental regulations
- Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public
