About the Role:

The Administrative Assistant will provide high-level administrative support to the Director of Food & Beverage at Seminole Gaming. This role will be responsible for coordinating office activities, scheduling appointments, and providing information to callers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support to the Director of Food & Beverage, including scheduling appointments and taking dictation
  • Screen telephone calls and visitors, and provide information to callers
  • Compose and type routine or complex correspondence and reports
  • Maintain and revise department filing systems
  • Perform a broad range of administrative details of a highly confidential nature
  • Maintain calendar for the Department Head, arranging meetings, conferences, and appointments
  • Open and review all mail directed to the Department Head, and compose responses to routine inquiries
  • Follow up on all assignments delegated to subordinate managers
  • Record Minutes of staff meetings and distribute to appropriate personnel
  • Promote positive public/employee relations at all times
  • Maintain a clean, safe, hazard-free work environment

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or GED with one to two years of related experience and/or training
  • Prior supervisory experience preferred
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or Tribal/governmental regulations
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public
