Contract Administrator

ZelTech is seeking a skilled Contract Specialist to support our Government Contracting Officers/Specialists, CORS, and program/project managers. This role involves facilitating the planning, preparation, coordination, quality checking, editing, and tracking of acquisition actions to procure a wide range of materials and services in accordance with federal DoD acquisition and financial management regulations.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform market research, analysis, and preparation of cost estimates in support of life cycle acquisition activities.
- Support Project Officers (and CORs) in the development of contractual documents for PR packages.
- Input accurate and timely project costs into DIA accounting systems.
- Support establishment and implementation of SOPs to support program management reviews and financial and performance audits.
- Support ATI personnel with special projects to include scheduling and agenda preparation for visitors.
- Create and maintain contract files and documentation.
- Participate in technical reviews to assess project progress from design through development and delivery.
- Comply with CCAFS industrial hygiene requirements.
- Active Top-Secret or higher security clearance.
- SCI nomination and pass a Polygraph within 90 days of employment.
- BA/BS degree or higher in a relevant field.
- Working knowledge of FAR/DFAR and acquisition planning.
- Familiarity with working in Federal government Information Systems (IS) environments to include Department of Defense (DOD), Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA), and other relevant agencies or organizations.
- Ability to communicate clearly with clients to explain the progress and results of the work.
- Five (5) or more years of experience performing contract administration.
- Level III DAWIA or FAC-C certification in the field of contracting or its equivalent.
- Experience using the government Contract Management System (CMS).
