Technical Support Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Tier 2 Service Desk Technician to join our team. As a key member of our IT support team, you will be responsible for providing timely and knowledgeable assistance to clients with technical inquiries.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional customer service via phone, email, or in-person
- Troubleshoot system failures, debug, and repair technical issues
- Assist with staging, deployment, and reclamation of technological equipment
- Maintain and repair peripheral devices and software configurations
- Organize routine maintenance and upgrades, working with client timelines
- Assist with IT special projects, including upgrades, deployments, and server/network component management
- Respond to emergency situations on a rotational basis
Requirements:
- Education: Associate Degree or BScs/BAs in Computer Science, Engineering, or relevant field
- Experience: 3+ years of proven experience as an IT Technician or similar role
- Skills:
- Thorough knowledge of computer systems and IT components
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
- Diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- Active Directory administration, including object and NTFS security management
- Skilled in MS Windows (10) and Office 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Strong understanding of networks and experience with LAN/WAN networks
- Ability to travel to remote locations as required
Estimated Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
