About the Role

Sovah Health - Danville is seeking a highly skilled and experienced HVAC Technician III to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on HVAC systems, including troubleshooting and diagnosing issues.
  • Operate and maintain central chilled water equipment, including cooling towers and chillers.
  • Repair and maintain air handling equipment, including pneumatic and electrical control systems.
  • Perform daily equipment checks and maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance.
  • Supervise training of General Maintenance Technicians in HVAC and refrigeration.
  • Coordinate and install construction projects related to HVAC and refrigeration.
  • Ensure compliance with facility and department safety policies.
  • Perform minor repairs to equipment, structures, and environmental systems.
  • Check and adjust temperature settings on thermostats.
  • Replace broken belts on air handler units and reset tripped circuit breakers.
  • Assist with moving of office furnishings and replace ceiling tiles as needed.
  • Document all information required by preventative maintenance program.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
  • Minimum ten (10) years experience in HVAC in lieu of Master/Journeymen's Card.
  • Licenses: Master/Journeymens card & Certificate in Universal Refrigeration Transition and recovery.
  • Valid drivers license and good driving record.
