ASNT Level III Technician Position Overview

Company Overview: Industrial Inspection & Analysis is a leader in delivering exceptional nondestructive testing and inspection solutions. We are on the lookout for a proficient ASNT Level III Technician to enhance our dynamic team.

Role Summary: In the capacity of an ASNT Level III Technician, your primary responsibility will be to execute nondestructive evaluations and certifications, ensuring that all testing processes adhere to established Navsea standards. You will leverage a variety of NDT techniques, including Radiographic Testing (RT), Ultrasonic Testing (UT), Magnetic Particle Testing (MT), Penetrant Testing (PT), and others, to evaluate the structural integrity of various components and accurately document your findings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain adherence to safety protocols and quality assurance measures
  • Contribute to the development of operational processes and methodologies
  • Prepare equipment and conduct pre-job assessments
  • Determine acceptability of defects based on severity
  • Complete necessary documentation and reporting for each assignment
  • Additional responsibilities as assigned

Required Qualifications:

  • Associate degree in a technical field or equivalent professional experience
  • ASNT Level III certifications in RT, UT, MT, PT, and ET
  • Familiarity with Navsea standards is advantageous
  • Knowledge of Additive Manufacturing is beneficial
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in basic software applications and email communication
  • Possession of a valid driver's license and ability to pass required screenings
  • Additional qualifications as necessary
