As a key member of the Bamboo Sushi finance team, the Corporate Staff Accountant will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial transactions and reporting.

Your Responsibilities:
In this role, you will collaborate closely with the Corporate Accounting Operations to manage essential functions for our diverse portfolio:
Transaction Management:
Work with the accounting team to accurately record all financial transactions, including banking activities, accounts payable, and accounts receivable, to facilitate the monthly closing process.
Internal Control Implementation:
Implement and maintain effective internal controls focusing on cash management, accounts receivable, and accounts payable.
Assist in developing and reviewing new processes and procedures to support organizational growth.
Monthly Reconciliation:
Reconcile balance sheet accounts and subsidiary ledgers, including debt, fixed assets, intangibles, accrued liabilities, and gift card liabilities.
Conduct reconciliation of sales and fees from point-of-sale and e-commerce transactions.
ERP and Financial Systems Proficiency:
Become proficient in the company's ERP and financial systems, such as NetSuite, POS, and expense reporting systems.
Contribute to initiatives aimed at enhancing automation, efficiency, and scalability across the business.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
The successful candidate will possess the following attributes:

- Analytical Thinker: Ability to analyze data quantitatively and solve problems effectively.

- Task Management Skills: Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Accounting Experience: Minimum of two years in an accounting role.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in the hospitality, restaurant, or public accounting sectors is advantageous.
Demonstrated full-cycle accounting experience with a proven ability to drive process improvements.
Strong track record of collaboration across teams and effective communication skills.
Accounting or Finance degree and advanced Excel skills are preferred.
