Job Title: Corporate Practice Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Corporate Practice Specialist to join our team at Stoel Rives LLP. As a key member of our Corporate practice group, you will provide billable support to our attorneys, paralegals, and practice assistants, ensuring the efficient and effective delivery of high-quality work product.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Document Assembly/Organization: Draft and prepare corporate documents, including formations, articles, bylaws, registrations, and stock certifications, as well as organize information and aid paralegals and attorneys in producing accurate and timely work product.
  • Corporate Maintenance: Support monthly compliance/registration filings, coordinate registered agent invoice payments, and update entity information in tracking software.
  • Paralegal Work Overflow: Monitor and triage paralegal work request inbox, assist with document-intensive matters, and interact with clients and government agencies to obtain information.
  • Timekeeping/Timesheets: Enter time daily, adhere to timekeeping rules, and submit timesheets to the Project Services Supervisor twice per month.
  • Teamwork: Work with and provide coverage for other Corporate team members, delegate and coordinate projects with support departments, and assist coworkers and timekeepers with questions related to technology or firm procedure.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma required; college degree preferred.
  • At least 5 years' experience in a law firm environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, good judgment, and the ability to learn quickly.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple priorities in a changing environment.
  • Flexibility and the ability to adapt to change and learn new programs and procedures.
  • High tolerance for stress, rush, and/or last-minute deadlines.
  • Ability to share responsibility, work as part of a team, and work without direct supervision in a fast-paced setting.
Benefits:

We offer a competitive salary range of $53,000 - $102,000, as well as a total rewards program that includes an annual discretionary bonus and rich benefits offerings, such as paid family & medical leave, competitive PTO, and remote work options.
