Reports to: General Manager

Position Overview:
Under general supervision, Sales Associates offer support and education to patients seeking medical marijuana solutions. Associates ensure that each patient receives the appropriate medication tailored to their specific health conditions.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring all intake forms and documentation are accurately completed and properly filed, subsequently entering all relevant information into the management system for future reference.
  • Verifying patient purchase limits before entering the consultation area and notifying the appropriate pharmacist of these limits.
  • Delivering Exceptional Customer Service by fostering and maintaining positive relationships with customers.
  • Responding to inquiries from customers via calls or emails regarding products, training, and general information.
  • Managing patient records using a specialized database.
  • Updating and maintaining databases as necessary.
  • Processing customer orders efficiently.
  • Responsible for the sales and promotion of all company products.
  • Building and sustaining a high level of integrity and trust regarding specific products.

Minimum Qualifications (Skills, Knowledge & Abilities):

  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Two years of direct customer service experience required.
  • Retail experience is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with Point-of-Sales systems.
  • Proficient in Windows Operating System and Microsoft Outlook.

FLSA status: Non-exempt

Additional Abilities Required:

  • While performing the duties of this role, the employee is required to stand, walk, or sit for extended periods, use hands for manual tasks, and lift or move up to 10 pounds (or more with assistance). Must be able to communicate verbally with co-workers, customers, vendors, etc. The noise level in the work environment is typically moderate.
