Job Summary

The Business Development Manager, OE Dealerships plays a crucial role in driving sales growth for Genuine Parts Company's Original Equipment (OE) customer base. This position is responsible for executing NAPA OE initiatives, promoting program adoption, and providing training to OE customer segments.

Key Responsibilities

Achieve assigned sales quota and consistently meet or exceed yearly targets.
Leverage OE Program knowledge to train Commercial Sellers, Customer Service Representatives, and other sales teams.
Present and communicate the benefits of the NAPA OE Program to current and prospective OE Accounts.
Ensure proper account registrations are in place for OE accounts in assigned territories.
Collaborate with Regional Sales Managers to drive OE program adoption and sales revenue.
Provide exceptional customer service and communication to all NAPA and OE Accounts in the territory.

Requirements

3-5 years of previous selling and account management experience with a proven track record of success in developing new business and maintaining existing relationships.
Valid driver's license with no DWI convictions within the past four years and not more than three moving violations or two at-fault accidents in the last three years.
Ability to travel within assigned territory, including overnight stays as required by the territory.
Proficient with standard corporate productivity tools, including Qlik, PowerBI, MS Office, and CRM applications.
Must be willing and able to work extended hours and weekends as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent sales/marketing experience.
Leadership skills, including the ability to motivate and inspire others through clear and proactive communication.
Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and make balanced decisions.
Ability to develop high-performing teams and provide inclusive leadership.

Physical Demands and Working Environment

The Business Development Manager, OE Dealerships must be able to operate a company vehicle safely and effectively for extended periods of time. Regularly required to stand, walk, use hands, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. Frequently lift and/or move up to 60 pounds. Specific vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. Ability to frequently attend events after hours and/or on weekends. Travel requirements upwards of 50% at any given time.
