We are seeking a dedicated Patient Service Representative to join our team at Medix. This role is essential in ensuring a seamless and positive experience for our patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Efficiently manage the check-in and check-out process, ensuring accuracy and a welcoming experience.
  • Schedule patient appointments with attention to detail, accommodating preferences and availability.
  • Collect and verify insurance information and copayments, ensuring all transactions are processed accurately.
  • Greet patients warmly and assist them with any inquiries or needs they may have.
  • Oversee the waiting area to ensure it remains organized and that patients are comfortable.
  • Handle both inbound and outbound calls professionally, addressing patient concerns and coordinating with medical staff as needed.

EMR System: Athena

Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 6+ months of medical front office experience
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bilingual
  • Experience with EMR systems, specifically Athena

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00AM to 5:00PM

Pay Rate: $16 to $18 per hour
