Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Front Desk Manager to join our team at Hyatt Place Atlanta/Norcross/Peachtree. As a Front Desk Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the front office, providing exceptional customer service to our guests, and maximizing room revenue and occupancy.

Responsibilities
  • Manage the front desk operations, including check-in, check-out, and room assignments.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to our guests, responding to their needs and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Maximize room revenue and occupancy by reviewing room availability, managing room rates, and implementing effective sales strategies.
  • Supervise and train front desk staff, ensuring they are knowledgeable about hotel policies, procedures, and services.
  • Monitor and maintain accurate records of guest interactions, including complaints, compliments, and special requests.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as housekeeping and food and beverage, to ensure seamless guest experiences.
  • Stay up-to-date with hotel policies, procedures, and services, and communicate changes to front desk staff.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in hospitality or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a front desk or customer service role, preferably in a hotel or hospitality setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with guests, staff, and management.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Basic math skills, with the ability to handle cash and operate a point-of-sale system.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds, with frequent standing, walking, and bending.
