Discover your future with us.The Boeing Company is currently in search of a Senior Administrative Coordinator to assist the Vice President of Government Operations, Defense, Space & Security (BDS).
The ideal candidate will have a background in supporting high-level executives, showcasing a high level of professionalism and discretion, and thriving in dynamic environments, particularly with experience related to the military or Department of Defense.
The candidate should be proactive, possess exceptional attention to detail, and be adept at managing shifting priorities effectively.
Additionally, they will be expected to quickly gain a comprehensive understanding of new topics and transition seamlessly between various tasks.
This role involves collaboration within a team, including the Chief of Staff.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct national security research and analysis, collaborating with various internal and external stakeholders to support ongoing and future BDS initiatives.
Monitor and assess internal and external matters pertinent to National Defense, including Service Strategies, budgets, press releases, and third-party publications to aid analytical efforts.
Establish and nurture effective working relationships with internal and external clients, colleagues, and peers, while upholding the utmost confidentiality with sensitive information and managing tight deadlines.
Assist in organizing, coordinating, and executing logistics for visits from senior Boeing executives and board members.Review Government Operations Defense, Space & Security (DS&S team) company contribution applications for quality and compliance.
Support the management of DS&S team partnerships with external organizations, planning relevant programming.
Assist in overseeing the DS&S team travel budget.
Process and screen incoming and outgoing communications to ensure accurate information dissemination.
Prioritize, manage, and schedule time effectively for optimal productivity.
Coordinate domestic and international business travel, oversee traveler logistics, generate team expense reports, and reconcile corporate credit card transactions for timely and accurate reimbursement.
Create, edit, and maintain both electronic and written communications.Collaborate with the appropriate contacts to facilitate the acquisition and maintenance of resources. Order and manage office supplies.
Encourage teamwork and contribute valuable ideas to management and administrative staff.
Operate with minimal supervision.
Occasionally work outside of standard business hours to support project requirements.
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at designated locations.
This role necessitates the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance, which requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is mandatory.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Bachelor's degree or higher.
1+ years of experience providing administrative support to multiple clients, including executives, managers, and staff members.
Proficiency in all Microsoft Office Suite applications.
Experience in written and verbal communication across diverse audiences.
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Strong interest in national security matters.
Experience with operational military and/or direct exposure to military clients.
Familiarity with Concur or similar travel and expense management software.
Experience supporting C-Suite Executives.
Experience collaborating with executives to develop and manage the operational rhythm for leadership teams.
Working knowledge and/or experience in an administrative or support role within the U.S. Executive or Legislative branches, trade associations, and/or think tanks.
Proficient in acting as a liaison between clients and senior executives, with superior prioritization and multitasking skills.
Excel at building and maintaining effective working relationships with internal colleagues, executives, and external partners while ensuring the highest level of confidentiality regarding sensitive information.
Demonstrate analytical and problem-solving capabilities.A keen attention to detail, self-motivated, and results-oriented.

Education and experience typically acquired through basic education (e.g.
High School diploma/GED) and typically 7 or more years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g.
